AZCINO'S TIME AT RED BULL BATALLA DE GALLOS

 Mauricio Hernández González, known as Aczino, has had an impressive and prolific career in the Red Bull Batalla de los Gallos Battles, establishing himself as one of the best freestylers in the history of the competition. In 2015, he again qualified for the international final in Chile, reaching the semi-final and being defeated by the Spaniard Arkano in one of the most memorable battles of the tournament.




In 2016, the international final took place in Lima, Peru, where Aczino once again showed a very high level, but was eliminated in the semifinals by Jony Beltrán in a tight battle.

First International Title (2017)

The year 2017 marked a turning point in Aczino's career. After winning the national final in Mexico, he reached the international final held in Mexico City. With an impressive performance, Aczino defeated all of his opponents, including Wos in the final, to be crowned international champion.  Continuation of Success (2018-2022)


In 2018, Aczino defended his title at the international final in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Throughout the tournament, he showed absolute dominance and impressive technical ability. He fell in the final against the local champion "Wos" in the battle that some think was poorly voted since the Mexican had won.



Aczino arrived at the 2019 international trying to make history, facing wos in the first round in a battle that was so close which led to 2 replicas (it is sudden death since the 2 competitors were equal in votes) 



In 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic affected the holding of many events, but Aczino continued competing in other formats and maintaining his relevance in freestyle culture. In that internationalization he lost against the Spanish champion Skone in the semifinals.



In 2021, Aczino returned to the Red Bull Batalla de los Gallos competition and again achieved the international title in the final held in Viña del Mar, Chile, defeating Skone in an epic final. With this triumph, he became the first freestyler to win two international titles, further cementing his legacy.

In 2022 he won the three-time championship by beating Gazir in the Mexico international which took place at the sports palace, thus becoming the only three-time champion in the history of Red Bull cockfight.
